Guess what? I’ve realized I was such an Eeyore about this barber pole striping technique. Yup, a bit of classic me moaning and procrastinating about something before I actually gave it a chance.
While I’ve “rebelled” against the bobbin suggestion, I have found it is not bad at all to manage yarn cakes! I’ve even worked on this project in the car. I will try to take a mini photo shoot one day of how I juggle them. Here’s my progress:

Oh and I had brought Poll de Shawl along to show it off at Imagiknit and I ended up finding a lovely shawl pin – ^O^ squee!
I personally love wood. I got to try on a few different shawl pins. I’ve searched on Etsy in the past and didn’t see anything I liked. I’m so glad I waited.
